I pledge to craft a balanced tax policy that fosters growth and lightens burdens, particularly for our working families and those launching small businesses. By optimizing how our tax dollars are spent, we ensure that public funds reflect and support the real needs of our community.

Further, I will champion initiatives to ease the financial challenges of higher education, advocating for fair student loan interest rates. Education is a fundamental component of a thriving society, and ensuring it is accessible is imperative to our shared future.

Families are the bedrock of our community, and supporting them transcends mere policy—it is a moral imperative. I advocate for provisions that empower parents to make informed decisions regarding their children's education and health. This approach is rooted in the belief that families must thrive for communities to do the same.

I will also foster initiatives that enhance family well-being, from improving healthcare access to ensuring affordable childcare, ensuring that all families in our district have the support they need.

Having personally navigated the path to citizenship, I understand the necessity of a fair, effective immigration system that honors the dignity of all who seek a life here. We must maintain safe and secure borders alongside a compassionate approach to immigration that reinforces our community's fabric. My proposals include enhancing cooperation among local, state, and federal agencies to focus on significant criminal threats, which will make our neighborhoods safer and more welcoming for everyone.

Additionally, I am committed to evaluating our cashless bail system, aiming to reform it in a way that balances justice with mercy—protecting our citizens while offering redemption and rehabilitation opportunities to those who seek them.
